How we keep our content accurate, current, and trustworthy — and what happens when something needs updating.

Olga is the sole expert reviewer for all content on Property Find. She personally approves every FAQ answer, glossary definition, and guide before publication. Her review is based on direct transactional experience, not secondary research.

Property Find does not use a panel of rotating contributors or anonymous reviewers. All content is traceable to a single named expert whose qualifications are publicly disclosed. This model prioritises depth and accountability over volume.

What We Check During Review

Factual Accuracy

All legal references, tax rates, process descriptions, and timelines are verified against current Spanish legislation and AEAT guidance before publication.

Practical Relevance

Content must be actionable and relevant to international buyers in today's Costa del Sol market. Outdated advice or hypothetical scenarios are removed or flagged.

Appropriate Caveats

Where legal, tax, or financial complexities exist, appropriate disclaimers are included. We do not simplify to the point of misleading readers.

Clear Attribution

Every piece of content is attributed to a named reviewer with stated qualifications. Anonymous or uncredited content is not published.

How Often Content Is Reviewed

All published content carries a "Last reviewed" date. We trigger a review when any of the following occur:

Annual rolling review cycle — all content reviewed at minimum once per year
Legislative changes (e.g. tax law updates, NIE process changes, mortgage regulations)
Significant market condition shifts (e.g. price index changes, new development pipeline)
User-submitted corrections flagged as substantive
Regulatory guidance updates from AEAT, Registro de la Propiedad, or Notaría bodies

Corrections Policy

We take correction requests seriously. If you believe a piece of content is factually incorrect, outdated, or misleading, please contact us with the specific claim in question and the basis for your correction.

Corrections are reviewed by Olga Gorshkova within 48 hours of receipt.
If a correction is substantiated, the content is updated immediately and the "Last reviewed" date updated.
Significant corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected article.
We do not delete or unpublish content in response to commercial pressure or reputational concerns.
